Within the scope of the KABEV Project at the TÜBİTAK Space Technologies Research Institute campus located in METU, MSM Architecture & Engineering undertook the exterior thermal insulation, Italian paint application, and clinker brick cladding works. The project was executed under high technical standards and required precise workmanship, with Vadi Altyapı as the main contractor and Tima Engineering as the consultancy firm.
In this facility, where scientific research and advanced technology production processes are carried out, the primary goal was to create an exterior envelope system that enhances energy efficiency while ensuring long-term protection. Accordingly, the exterior thermal insulation works were completed in full compliance with technical specifications, significantly improving the building’s thermal performance.
Subsequently, a specially textured Italian paint system was applied to elevate the façade aesthetics. This coating provided not only high UV resistance but also a premium visual appearance, adding architectural value to the project.
As an essential component of the façade design, the clinker brick cladding introduced both a modern and institutional character to the structure. Thanks to its high durability, low maintenance requirements, and natural texture supporting architectural integrity, the building’s exterior was strengthened both aesthetically and functionally.
For MSM Architecture & Engineering, being part of a project belonging to TÜBİTAK—one of Turkey’s most critical scientific institutions—once again demonstrated our technical expertise, site coordination capability, and high-standard implementation approach. All works were completed in full compliance with safety protocols, quality control processes, and the project schedule.
